About Me
I am an interactive designer and photographer with over five years of experience. I started making photographs in 1999 as a hobby and it soon turned into a passion. To broaden my horizons I entered the world of interactive design.
The creative potential that the Internet offered was irresistible to me. After working freelance for a number of years I studied Interactive Digital Media Design at Centennial College (The Centre for Creative Communications) and graduated in 2005.
Currently I am working as the Public Affairs Communications Coordinator at State Farm Insurance designing and administering their Intranet site. I am also a part-time Instructor at Centennial College where I teach a combination of Web Design, Flash Development, Video Editing and Business Communication.
I use a minimalist yet functional design style in my work. I am a strong advocate of delivering a clear message. My goal is to always maximize usability without losing aesthetics. My skills include web design, interface design, writing, content development, photography, video editing and dvd authoring.
My Photoblog
I photograph my life as it happens. I live in Pickering , work in Aurora and play in Toronto (Ontario, Canada). As a result my imagery is diverse.
My photo blog also serves as a personal creative challenge. I will post at least one new photo every week for as long as I feel to do so. I have a tendency to switch between creative mediums but my guess is that this is something I will continue for a long while.
I launched my photo blog on July 1, 2006. Any images that I made before this date I will post as I find the time here and there. Please be patient with me, it's more than 5 years of work that I have to sort through. I invite you to visit my blog and post your comments and/or criticisms. Your feedback is appreciated.

Technical Info
This section is for all you new media geeks out there who always need to know how everything on the web is done. Don't worry I'm not making fun, I'm a new media geek too.
I launched this website in 2001 as a way to showcase my photography and interactive design work and although it has been through many face lifts, it still serves the same purpose today.
This website is hosted with www.doteasy.com. My photo blog is powered by Pixel Post 1.5. It contains a template that I modified using a combination of CSS and XHTML. My "standard" Blog is powered by www.blogger.com and also contains a template that I modified using CSS and XHTML.
Of all the photo blog software out there, I found Pixel Post to be the easiest to work with. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to start a photo blog.
The rest of this website was designed using the following software applications and internet programming languages:
- Adobe Photoshop CS2
- Adobe Dreamweaver 8
- Adobe Flash 8 / Actionscript 2.0
- HTML / XHTML
