The Donny's - Interface Design

I was recently commissioned to design the main interface for the new media projects that were highlighted at the Donny’s (The Donny’s is an Integrated Media Awards Showcase sponsored by Centennial College).

Things got a bit hectic because I only had a week to compile all the featured projects, design and test the interface and deliver it on time. It was a bit stressful but it all got done, thankfully with no glitches.

In addition to designing the interface one of my projects (“The Asylum”) was featured in the showcase as well. Unfortunately there were no awards given to new media projects this year but there’s always next year!

Game Design with Flash MX 2004

After completing my final project in school “The Asylum” (see my portfolio) I fell in love with all the possibilities that Flash has to offer, especially the opportunity to create interactive games.

At first I was scared to death of Actionscript but now I can’t get enough. I’m currently reading this book to learn more. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to produce Flash games for fun and/or profit.
