Fantastic Land

The Amazing Adventures of Mathematics in the Fabulous Fantastic Land is a prototype of an educational game on DVD. It was an experiment in exploring the interactive potential of video DVDs.

The viewer is presented with a series of math problems. In order to progress through the game a minimum number of questions must be answered correctly.

As a production artist with Fuel Advertising I worked on the Christmas 2005 edition of the Hudson's Bay Company's website.

I created the animated introduction that is used to feature several selected products within a limited amount of screen real-estate.

In addition I made regular updates to the content as well as created graphics and edited images for publishing on the web.

To advertise an exclusive event for preferred Bay and Zellers clientele, I created this evite using a combination of HMTL, CSS and graphics created using Photoshop.

The HTML page was distributed via mass email to the preselected candidates.

The Asylum

The Asylum is an interactive narrative in which the user can explore a fictional environment.

The characters within the story will react differently depending on the decisions the user makes.

This project displays examples of content development, character design, interactive script writing, programming, animation and sound design.

I founded UrbanGOAT.com in 2001. It was an online magazine that focused on the music, art and culture of the urban environment with a special focus on Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

As the project manager and creative director I designed the website (and redesigned it in 2003), developed written and image-based content, produced online videos, coordinated a core-team of contributors and solicited material from various freelance journalists.
